The research group EMIGRA of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, specialized in the field of anthropology of education, takes once again the organization of the 4th International Conference of Ethnography and Education. The conference will take place at the Bellaterra Campus on July 12, 13 & 14, 2017. On July11 an open Pre-Conference Training Seminar on methods will be held.
After the success of the previous editions in Talavera de la Reina, Barcelona, and Madrid, this new international scientific meeting aims to update and consolidate a space for academic debate building on the presentation of recent contributions to ethnographic research on education. Participants are encouraged to submit abstracts that provide new insights and new perspectives in the face of the emerging challenges of education, diversity and inequality in the global world of the 21st century.
Although the Conference is intended to promote in-depth discussion between researchers (scholars, master students and PhD students), it also encourages and welcomes the participation of teachers, education administrators and other professionals in the field of education.
